Mold Testing Steps

What should you expect during your mold investigation? We've outlined the basic steps below to walk you through the process from start to finish!

• Call to Schedule: Once you contact us, we will schedule a date and time that works best for you. We try to arrive the same day or next day depending on how early in the day you call us.
• Visual Inspection: When we arrive on site, we don't just focus on the "affected" area(s) of the home or office. The goal during this phase is to get a 30,000-foot view of the property to fully understand how different factors my be contributing to your mold and/or air quality issue.
• Gathering Data/Testing: Once we complete our visual assessment, we begin testing using our world-class equipment and the optimal testing methods for your specific situation. We also take photos and videos (as needed) while we inspect your property.
• Results Sent to the Lab: We work with local laboratories to determine the types of contaminants present in your home or business and at what quantities. We do this by sending our samples from the mold assessment.
• Generating a Report/Protocol: Once the lab results are returned to us, we generate your air quality assessment report including a protocol for your desired mold remediator. Our reports are not a "copy and pasted" boilerplate report. Rather, they're completely customized to your situation and include all results, documentation, and photos. You can then give this report and recommendations to you mold remediator, insurance adjuster, or property manager as applicable.
